    Chris Buskirk

    President

    Chris Buskirk is the publisher and a senior editor of American Greatness and the host of the host of The Seth & Chris Show on 960 KKNT. He was a Publius Fellow at the Claremont Institute. and received a fellowship from the Earhart Foundation. Chris is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold businesses in financial services and digital marketing.  Chris has also been heard on other shows including NPR’s Morning Edition and The Hugh Hewitt Show. Chris received his B.A. from Claremont-McKenna College.

    Julie Ponzi is senior editor of American Greatness. She received her M.A. and is a candidate for the Ph.D. at the Claremont Graduate University. She has written for the Claremont Review of BooksThe Online Library of Law and Liberty, the Columbus DispatchAtlanta Journal-Constitution,and the Washington Times.  She was also a regular and long-time contributor to the Ashbrook Center’s blog, “No Left Turns.” She lives in California.

    Ben Boychuk is managing editor of American Greatness. He is a regular columnist with the Sacramento Bee, a weekly syndicated columnist with Tribune Media, and a veteran of several publications, including Investor’s Business Daily and the Claremont Review of Books. He lives in California.

  • Victor Davis Hanson

    Victor Davis Hanson is an American military historian, columnist, former classics professor, and scholar of ancient warfare. He was a professor of classics at California State University, Fresno, and is currently the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. He has been a visiting professor at Hillsdale College since 2004. Hanson was awarded the National Humanities Medal in 2007 by President George W. Bush. Hanson is also a farmer (growing raisin grapes on a family farm in Selma, California) and a critic of social trends related to farming and agrarianism. He is the author most recently of The Second World Wars – How the First Global Conflict was Fought and Won (Basic Books).

    Roger Kimball is Editor and Publisher of The New Criterion and President and Publisher of Encounter Books. Kimball lectures widely and has appeared on national radio and television programs as well as the BBC. He is also the author of The Fortunes of Permanence: Culture and Anarchy in an Age of Amnesia (St. Augustine’s Press, 2012), The Rape of the Masters (Encounter), Lives of the Mind: The Use and Abuse of Intelligence from Hegel to Wodehouse (Ivan R. Dee), and Art’s Prospect: The Challenge of Tradition in an Age of Celebrity (Ivan R. Dee). Other titles by Mr. Kimball include The Long March: How the Cultural Revolution of the 1960s Changed America (Encounter) and Experiments Against Reality: The Fate of Culture in the Postmodern Age (Ivan R. Dee). Mr. Kimball is also the author of Tenured Radicals: How Politics Has Corrupted Our Higher Education (HarperCollins). Kimball is a frequent contributor to many publications here and in England, including The New Criterion, The Times Literary Supplement, Modern Painters, Literary Review, The Wall Street Journal, The Public Interest, Commentary, The Spectator, The New York Times Book Review, The Sunday Telegraph, The American Spectator, The Weekly Standard, National Review, and The National Interest.
