Mount Vernon Project

The Mount Vernon Project is a six-month journalism fellowship. This program is designed to nurture and train young writers and intellectuals to write for the general public about conservative principles in a way that is both informed and persuasive. However, not only do we train Fellows how to write persuasively, we also are committed to improving their intellectual understanding of conservativism. To that end, fellows are required to review readings in American political history and theory and draft a weekly op-ed length essay that are published on our website.
